Raid Preparation
Raiders are expected to carry the full range of their own personal raid buffs. This list of buffs includes, but is not limited to flasks, elixirs, potions and food buffs. Raiders are expected to have a full array of buffs available on them at all times. The use of such buffs will be called upon by the raid leader. Raiders may always use buffs in addition to explicit calls at their discretion.

All gear should be gemmed and enchanted appropriately for PvE content. Additionally, raiders are expected to have a full PvE spec for raiding, unless a specific spec is requested by the raid leader. You should have all reagents to last for a three hour raid, as well as full repairs at the start of the raid. Failure to buff when called for, to gem and enchant properly, or to spec as needed could result in removal from the raid. Repeat incidents will have a direct impact on future raid consideration.

Raid Invites
The raid list will be out promptly at 7:30 pm server time. Raiders are expected to join the raid themselves with the requested "invite" whisper to the Raid Organizer for the night. Invites will be immediate, and the raid should be formed by 7:45 pm. Everyone will be zoned into the instance by 7:50 pm, and fully buffed by 7:55 pm. The first pull will begin promptly at 8:00 pm.

Raiders will get priority invites to raids over all other ranks. On progression content, the raid leader will select the raiders that they feel gives them the best chance at progressing, regardless of rank.

Raid spots will not be held. If you are unable to attend, you are required to post on the Forums indicating as such.

Raid Procedure
While Honor Guards and Officers share responsibilities in the raid, there is only one raid leader. Their instructions are to be followed to the letter, without debate. Raids must operate efficiently. All debates and questions should be saved for the forums when there is time to discuss. Vent should remain clear with the exception of critical raid communication.

All other communications should take place in class specific channels. Join the appropriate raid channels based on your class and role in a raid.

Role|Channel|Purpose
Raid Leading||Leadership Decisions and Discussions
Tanks|inrevtank|Tank Assignments and rotations
Healers|inrevheal|Healing Assignments
Raid DPS|inrevdps|DPS assignments and CC
Meters|inrevmeters|For Meter Linking
Critical raid communications are concise and direct. An example would be the loss of a key component in a pull, or the duration of a banish. "main dispel down," or "x seconds on triangle." When an order to clear vent is given, vent should be cleared immediately.

The raid leader may request a specific toon, alt, or spec at any time. Raiders should not expect a summon for their main toon. Summons will be provided as we are able. It is the raider's responsibility to arrive at the location on time.

Loot Distribution
InReverie distributes loot via a Loot Council. Officers, Raid Leaders and Honor Guards will decide how best to distribute loot to make the guild stronger. Many factors go into this decision including Attendance, Raid Performance and Prior Loot Received.

Raiding Basics
Move into position only when directed by the raid leader. The raid leader will coordinate pulls by calling for misdirects, giving direction to the tanks, or making the required calls for any given pull.

Installing boss mods, understanding the encounters, preparing macros, and installing and understanding required raiding UI mods is the responsibility of the raider.

The raid will move quickly at the appropriate pace as dictated by the raid leader. Request an AFK under special circumstances, otherwise, breaks will be given as needed. While raiding, raiders are expected to be focused on raiding, and drinking or buffing quickly between pulls. Unless otherwise directed on trash, do not expect a res. Do not release on Boss encounters. If you die on a boss encounter, do not take the time to AFK. If you receive a Battle Res or a Soul Stone, use proper judgment before accepting the res.

Stay organized, stay focused, and bring your best game to raids. Raid time is not the time to slack. Every raider will be having their performance evaluated after every raid. End game raiding does not have tolerance for sub par performance. Failure to follow raiding guidelines could result in removal from the raid, or disciplined up to and including removal from the guild. Disciplinary action taken outside of the raid environment would be subject to a majority officer vote before acted upon.

Raid Tanking
Tank assignments will be given out by the raid leader or a delegate. On trash, tank assignments may change on the fly. This impacts Feral Druids the most, as they may be required to tank any mob at any time. Unless otherwise directed; tanks should assume that they are tanking and gear accordingly. Special direction will be given if they are going to perform another function. Tank positioning will be directed by the raid leader in conjunction with strategies posted on the forums.

It is the tank's responsibility to gear for special tanking circumstances such as resist bosses. The guild and guild bank may assist with this function, but the ultimate responsibility is on the individual.

It is not the responsibility of the tank to watch any raider's threat but their own. Tanks must be situationally aware and pick up loose mobs before they impact the raid. DPS warriors should also be mindful of this and tank as needed. All raid members must have Omen installed, including the tanks.

Tanks should be using the appropriate consumables.

Raid DPSing
While not required at this time, Omen Threat Meter is reccomended for all raiders. It is the responsibility of the individual to watch and understand their threat. If the raid leader calls "Stop DPS," then all DPS is to halt immediately. DPS is expected to push the limits of their damage without pulling aggro.

DPS classes should know when cooldown abilities are required. Most abilities will be used at the DPS player's discretion, unless otherwise directed by the raid leader. In the event that the raid intends to use a Bloodlust rotation, or other similar ability, the raid leader or delegate will indicate when such abilities should be used.

Group buffs and group composition will be decided on the fly by the raid leader based on the raid turnout. Should there be discrepancies, discuss them after the raid or on the forums.

DPS focuses fire. A main assist will be indicated. DPS should focus fire the appropriate target to the ground. Splitting DPS will be called for: It should not occur otherwise.

Raid Healing
Healing assignments will be given out for trash and for bosses. While this is your primary responsibility, it is not your only responsibility. You do not need permission to toss out an extra heal that is needed if you are able. Every class that can remove a debuff is fully expected to remove debuffs as quickly as possible. In some encounters, main decursers may be assigned. While this may be their primary function, anyone that is able to remove an appropriate debuff should if they are able.

Healers are expected to keep pace with their tanks, and to drink as needed in between pulls. If the pace is moving too quickly for a single healer to keep up with an assignment, a rotation will be used. Always move within range of your assignment.

Healers are expected to maximize their performance via stopping casts and positioning at all times. Unless otherwise indicated, raid members should not die. When people do die, res classes that can res first, unless otherwise directed.

Ready Checks
Unless otherwise indicated, a ready check is requested to find out only one thing: Are you ready? Do not click that you are ready if you are missing buffs that you need. It is expected that if you are missing buffs, that you click "No" for the ready check. Upon clicking "No" you will be asked what you need. The appropriate buff will be given quickly. Players returning to combat after death should receive buffs as players are able. All other buff requests should be handled before the raid indicates that it is ready.
