Loot Distribution is a constantly evolving topic, but this is an overview of how the process works at this time:

- We currently award loot using a Loot Council.

- EPGP Loot mod allows us to see who has bid on an item, whether it is for mainspec, offspec, or is a minor upgrade. It also allows us to see the item that the player is currently wearing in that slot.

- All officers and Honor Guards look at this data and then take into consideration attendance, performance, attitude, degree of upgrade, raid role, past loot received, etc. there are many other factors that come into play, and each member of the Loot Council is an expert in a different area of the game. Each member issues a vote for whoever they think will benefit both themselves and the guild the most by receiving the item.

- in the case of a unanimous vote, the loot is issued to the appropriate player.

- if anyone disagrees, there is a short discussion. following this discussion if the vote is still not unanimous, the majority decision will pass. The members of the loot council all trust one another; if we disagree on a point, we will still support the decision of the majority.

- While being fair is a very important factor when deciding on loot, bettering the guild is the most important one. for this reason some players who have demonstrated exceptional skill and dedication, or who happen to have a very important role (ie Main Tank) may receive loot sooner than others, in order to strengthen the raid and allow for more rapid progression.

- Loot should not be the Primary reason to raid for ANYONE in this guild. The Mission Statement says precisely this. For this reason, disputes over loot will be given very little weight. Anyone who joins an InReverie raid should be there to kill stuff and to have fun. Loot is a bonus and a tool to be used to improve your performance. Complaining about loot distribution displays a focus on loot that is not in keeping with the Ideals of the guild. HOWEVER if you do have questions about why a certain decision was reached, please ask an officer and we will be pleased to discuss it with you.
